How To Use
【Preparations Before Work】
1. Protect the areas that do not need to be ground and polished against splashes (it is recommended to use pre-taped masking film).
2. Install the Velcro drive disc on the tooth shaft of the polisher, and turn the polisher’s speed knob to “1” to start.
【Work Flow】
1. Grinding for stain/scratch removal – wet grinding with #150 diamond pad
(1) Add water for wet grinding. During the wet grinding process, please keep enough water in case of dry grinding. During the grinding process, if gray slurry is ground out, the operation is right. When there is gray slurry, grind a little longer.
(2) After grinding, wipe the surface dry. Once completely dry, inspect to see if all stains or scratches have been completely removed. If any remains, add water to grind again, and repeat this step until they are completely removed.
＊ You must fully remove all stains and scratches before proceeding to the #300 diamond pad.
＊ After grinding with #150 diamond pad, the surface will not be bright, and it looks foggy white.
2. Fine Surface Grinding – wet grinding with #300, #500, #1000, #2000, #3000 diamond pads
(1) Following the same wet grinding method (adding water, preventing dryness), sequentially use pads #300 → #500 → #1000 → #2000 → #3000. Gray slurry appearing during each step is correct. Continue grinding a bit after slurry appears.
(2) Each pad must grind the entire area previously worked by the prior grit—extend about 2–3 mm beyond.
＊For example, the #300 pad should cover the entire area ground by #150. Missing any part may result in uneven shine during polishing.
(3) Grind patiently. The finer the grinding, the better the polish.
(4) After finishing with each grit, wipe clean with a cloth. Once dry, touch it—the surface should feel finer than with the previous grit. Inspect for any leftover grinding marks; if any remain, wet grind again.
＊After #3000, the surface should feel very smooth, with slight reflectivity when viewed from the side.
3. Gloss Restoration Polishing – Gloss Restoration Compound and wool felt pad.
(1) Attach the wool felt pad to the polisher’s Velcro drive disk.
(2) Using the provided dropper, dispense the gloss restoration compound onto the surface—approximately two drops per 15×15 cm area. Use exactly as recommended; too much will lead to uneven results.
(3) Spread the compound evenly with the wool pad. Turn on the machine and polish until the compound fully dries.
(4) Repeat at least three times to achieve optimal shine.
＊Once drawn out with the dropper, the compound should not be returned to the container.
【Cautions】
1. Before using the polisher, please read the attached safety manual carefully.
2. The “Gloss Restoration Compound” is intended only for restoring glossy engineered quartz countertops, not for matte or silk-finish surfaces. If you need to handle stones other than engineered quartz, please purchase other suitable polishing materials.
2. Do not mix the compound with any other liquid, add water to it, or freeze it.
3. For slightly textured quartz surfaces (e.g., leather or lightly embossed finishes), the polished result will differ from the original.
4. Keep out of reach of children. Polishing powder must not be swallowed. Please avoid the polishing powder to contact with eyes. If it contacts with eyes, please rinse the eyes with plenty of water and if necessary, seek medical treatment as soon as possible.
5. Before using on large areas, test in an inconspicuous spot. If you have any questions during testing, please contact us.
