How to Use
The following is a brief description.Detailed instructions and a usage video are included in the kit.
【Preparation Before Work】
1. Protect the areas that do not need grinding and polishing to preventsplashing (we recommend using masking tape, purchase here:https://bit.ly/2QrRWIU).
2. Attach the velcro drive disk to the grinder spindle, and set the machinespeed to "1" before starting. Use speed setting "1" for allglass grinding and polishing applications.
【Work Flow】
1. Apply a moderate amount of polishing compound onto the wool felt polishing pad. Lightly spray the glass surface with some water and begin polishing. Work carefully and patiently—move the machine slowly and polish back and forth for an extended period to achieve a uniform polishing effect.
2. During the polishing process, always keep the glass surface moist by spraying water as needed. Do not polish dry. If the surface lacks moisture, spray a little water accordingly. The polishing compound should remain in a thick paste form before continuing the process.
3. During polishing, you may use a glass scraper or a cloth to wipe and inspect the surface. Continue until all oil films, swirl marks, and wiper marks are completely removed from the glass.
4. If there are marks that cannot be removed with the polishing compound, it indicates more severe damage. In such cases, use glass grinding pads to remove the damage before polishing. Please purchase the XShine Glass Abrasive Disk #1, #2, and #3.
5. After polishing is complete, wipe off any excess polishing compound. Then rinse the glass thoroughly with clean water. Finally, dry the surface with a cloth or use a squeegee to remove the water.
Important Notes
1. Before using the machine, please readthe attached safety manual carefully.
2. Before starting, we recommend practicing on a piece of scrap glass. If youhave any questions during the test process, please contact us for discussion.
3. This product is for polishing andcleaning surface oil film, wiper marks, sun mark, and light water stains onflat glass surfaces. It is not effective for removing scale, scratches, acidetching, burn marks, or dents.
